Orthodoxy (correct doctrine), Orthopraxis (correct actions) and Orthocardia (correct heart). The Puritans used to talk about the need to have all three. We tend to think a lot about the first two. Let us not forget that, "The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith."
1 Corinthians 13:1-3
"If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing."

Giving Theology the Boot?
While home sick yesterday, I decided to make myself useful. I grabbed one of Michael's winter sheepskin slippers, a handful of Sharpie's, crawled back in bed, propped myself up and began with Calvin. My pen slipped while working on Luther and in trying to fix my error, he ended up looking more like Tetzel. Luther would not have been happy!
